Week Eight - Fusion 360 Rendering

Fusion 360 Rendering:

When rendering my shape I had the background set as "plaza" as I liked the reflection on the object. The materials I used to cover the shape were;

  • Glass (heavy colour)
  • Copper (polished)
  • Granite (red)
  • Leather (glossy)
I used these materials to cover the shape as I liked the way the colours went together. The glass offered a nice reflective yet slightly transparent look and I really liked the way this interacted with the background image. The colour of the granite and the copper were similar, however the difference in texture gave the object different dimensions. The leather was similar in colour to the glass, however the colour was solid and had more texture. The placement of the materials was some what random although I did try to space out the materials and not place the same one next to itself.

Overall I really like the visual of this shape, I think the materials work nicely together to create an interesting design / image.
